Summer is coming…& it’s coming really fast…it’s time to think about your health again…you have to protect yourself from the scorching heat, dust & dryness from the sun. You can drink lots of water to keep yourself cool, wear expensive sunglasses to protect your eyes, wear fancy dresses to cover yourself; BUT what about Your precious hair?
The heat emitted from sun in this season leaves hair dry and brittle. If proper care is not taken in due time, it causes you slip ends. To stop it you need extra care for your hair too…
Do’s & Don’ts:
# use coconut oil each day before washing your hair. It keeps your head cooler & prevents dryness.
# If possible, use jojoba oil instead of coconut oil. It protects your hair from dust, heat & chemicals.
# Before applying the oil, make it little warmer & them massage it all over on your scalp for 5-10 minutes.
# Before going out; either carry umbrella or wear cap or scarf to protect your head from the direct sunlight.
# Better to have small hair in the summer, if split ends occur, cut them down.
# use mild shampoo in summer, as they make our scalp dry & hot.
# Before going for swimming; make sure to wet your hair properly, as the chlorine from the pool water effects less. If possible cover your hair.
# If you are one of those, who loves to color their hairs, then you have to be extra cautious.
# Don’t wash your hair from any kinds of alcoholic items in summer.
# Ah! FORGET the Glam girls (Ash, Priyanka, Deepika), they never use what they promote, so, just as they say ‘USE THIS’, don’t buy that, read the ingredients first, is it suitable for you or not, then only buy.
With these small steps you can avoid any kind or hair damage in this summer, so remember this…“Prevention is better than Cure”.
