Libya: Gaddafi’s forces continue assault, UN reiterates ceasefire

Forces loyal to Libyan ruler Muammar Gaddafi shelled a besieged western city on Thursday, killing at least 13 people, and new explosions rocked Tripoli as the US told a NATO meeting the alliance must intensify its mission to isolate the Libyan leader and “bring about his departure.”
