After the solicitor general presented the arguments, the SC said, “If you lay a single piece of evidence before us that this man (Kumar) or any state authority is even remotely involved in destruction of evidence…(in chit fund scam cases), we will come down so heavily that he will regret it.” SC will hear the CBI’s contempt plea against Bengal govt on Tuesday.
