Priyanka and Nick shock and stun at Met Gala 2019 red carpet

For all those of you who have been waiting to see the hottest couple – Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’ latest look, the wait is over. The madly in love duo, who hit headlines as they walked the red carpet at the Met Gala in 2017, where they met for the first time, came together for the same event this year- this time around as husband and wife, and boy they looked stunning together. Also, as expected the duo chose to dress uniquely and their choice of ensembles have become the talk of the town.
PeeCee chose Dior over her usual favourite Ralph Lauren for the big evening. The stunner rocked her Afro-inspired look in a custom made silver gown by Christian Dior, which was certainly very high on drama with gold detailing and feathers. The outfit featured a sheer bodice with cross strips. Styled by Mimi Cuttrell, Chopra finished off her look with a gorgeous a pair of silver pumps, purple drop earrings and layered pendants by Chopard.

Priyanka’s make-up for an experiment that paid off. The look, was courtesy Pati Dubroff, an international make-up artist, who gave Priyanka interesting Afro hair, white-frosted brows, lashes, raspberry eyeshadow and lips.

Nick the pop icon wasn’t far behind his leading lady when it came to making a statement. Nick looked suave in a white suit by Dior Men. He teamed up the suit with a silver encrusted shirt, a matching stole and blingy shoes. Nick surprised us with an interesting accessory – his ear cuffs, which we think will trend for sometime now.

While the looks have become a hit with the international media, some ‘Nickyanka’ fans can’t digest the dramatised looks and for all those of you, here’s a n update – the beautiful couple chose their respective outfits to go with the theme of this year’s gala – ‘Camp: Notes on Fashion, which is a reference to to Susan Sontag’s famous 1964 essay, Notes on ‘Camp,’ which is all about love of the unnatural, of artifice and exaggeration.
