Pakistani artist Sundas Malik and Anjali Chakra, who hails from India got into a union last year and when they decided to celebrate their anniversary, they took to Instagram to share some adorable pictures of them dressed in beautiful ethnic wear. And, no prizes for guessing the pictures have now gone viral for beautifully showcasing Indo-Pak union.
Clicked by their friend and popular photographer Sarowar Ahmed, the pictures have transcended borders in a fashion that people from both countries can’t stop themselves from reposting the lovely photos.
The pictures came to light when Sarowar shared the photos on social media and captioned them, ‘A New York love story’. The couple also posted on their respective Instagram accounts. The pictures were shot during a cousin’s wedding and they are postcard worthy. Also, one can’t stop raving about the duo’s rich and stylish wedding wardrobe – it’s simple and elegant!

Besides being an ode to Indo-Pak union, the pictures are also bringing cheer to the LGBT community, who are praising the fact that the duo are taking pride in their relationship.

The pictures have Anjali and Sundas posing under an umbrella amid rains and also in front of a heritage building wearing the traditional South Asian outfits – a lehenga and a sari. The duo have beautifully finished their look with some traditional jewellery.
