Staying at home with kids is TOUGHER than going to office

Parents, tell us if this sounds familiar. You feel extremely tired and irritable and decide to take an off from your 9 to 5 grind. However, instead of feeling refreshed and rejuvenated, you actually end up feeling really tired. If you feel the same, fret not, you are not alone. After all, keeping an eye on your little one is not easy as it sounds.
The study
According to a recent survey, 31 per cent of the parents agreed that staying at home with their ‘Baby Boss’ is harder than going to work. Yes, you read that right. While the findings of this survey should not come as a surprise to anyone who has rejoined work after maternity (paternity) leave, it will certainly shock the would-be parents.
Around 15,000 parents were asked the same question, out of which a massive 55 per cent called parenting a hard work, while 20 per cent agreed that taking care of the baby was definitely really difficult.

It is tough but it is all love

This research conducted in the UK which surveyed new parents highlighted that raising a baby was no child’s play (and sometimes tougher than going to work). However, most of the parents (48 per cent) agreed that starting a family was ‘a perfect experience’ for them. A lot of new mamas also emphasised that they couldn’t have gotten through without their mother’s support.

The bottom line

So, the next time you feel that your 9 to 5 job is tad bit draining, do keep in mind that staying at home and taking care of the tiny human you have created from scratch could be equally exhausting.
