China growth momentum slows further amid calls for stimulus

The official manufacturing purchasing managers’ index fell to 49, indicating contraction, while the non-manufacturing gauge slipped to 53.2, signaling weaker expansion. Demand for factory goods remained a concern, and industrial deflation showed no signs of easing.
