India’s cyber watchdog, CERT-In, had warned Apple users of multiple vulnerabilities that could allow attackers to access sensitive information, execute arbitrary code, and bypass security restrictions. The affected software includes Apple’s iOS 15.8, 16.7.2, and 17.1 operating systems, as well as certain OS versions of MacBook and Apple Watch. This comes amidst controversy over Apple’s recent alert to some iPhone users regarding potential hacks from state-sponsored attackers.
