While the film was praised for its scenic beauty and glossy production values, critics largely panned the screenplay as repetitive and “exhausting,” noting a significant lack of on-screen chemistry between Aaryan and his co-star Ananya Panday. In a commendable show of professional solidarity following the film’s failure, reportedly, Aaryan voluntarily took a massive pay cut of Rs 15 crores to help ease the financial burden on the producers.
