The upcoming Noida Film City is being planned as a modern creative hub that goes beyond being just a shooting location. Producer Boney Kapoor, who is closely associated with the project, has spoken about the need to build strong infrastructure for young creators.

According to him, the focus is on empowering new voices by giving them access to world-class facilities, mentorship and an environment where creativity can grow freely. “This is about empowering the next generation of storytellers with the infrastructure, mentorship and creative freedom to work at a truly global scale,” Kapoor told Times of India, stressing that the right ecosystem is just as important as talent when it comes to telling stories that can travel globally.
The film city is expected to bring together filmmakers, digital creators, YouTubers, podcasters and gaming professionals under one roof. With production studios, post-production facilities, incubation spaces and tech-driven labs, the project aims to support content across films, web series and digital platforms.
The initiative aligns with broader priorities outlined in India’s Union Budget 2026 to support creative industries and modern infrastructure. By building a space that supports both traditional cinema and new-age content, the Noida Film City hopes to play a key role in shaping the future of storytelling in the country.
