15-Day Weight Loss Challenge



Deciding what to do in the last few days of the year can be a difficult task since there is so much we want to achieve. Regardless of how we wish to spend our New Year’s eve, one thing remains constant in all our wish lists – and that is to be fit and healthy. So if you have spent 2019 trying hard to follow healthy habits, just to fall off the bandwagon shortly thereafter, let’s try and end this year on the perfect note.
With the year 2020 exactly 15 days away, we can still get back on track by following one healthy tip a day. They say you need a minimum of 15 days to form a habit and this experiment could just turn out to be life changing for us:

DAY 15: DRINK LOTS OF WATER

We all know water is important for our overall well being, yet we end up compromising on it every time we have a busy day. We all have been guilty of being too lazy to fill and refill our water bottles, thereby going thirsty for hours. So what can we do to ensure that we drink a minimum of 8-10 glasses of water every day?
First up, drink at least 2-3 glasses of water as soon as you wake up. You can add lemon and a pinch of cinnamon to it for added benefits.

Another way to ensure you have enough water is to carry a big bag – you ask why? Well, because always keep a bottle full of water in your bag, wherever you go.

Thirdly, as soon as you start preparing your meals or someone does it for you, have another glass of water.

Download water apps that will keep reminding you of drinking enough water throughout the day.

Every 1-2 hours, get up from your seat and walk to the water cooler. It will not only ensure you drink water but will also ensure you take regular strolls.

ALWAYS, we repeat, ALWAYS have water if you feel untimely thirst. We often misunderstand thirst as hunger, which can lead to unnecessary weight gain.
