Stand every now and then
Our eyes are glued to the laptops and bums to our chairs for more than nine hours in a day. Sitting, as we know, does not only increase our chances of getting sick but also increases our weight. So, get up and get walking whenever you get a chance. If you have a desk job, stand after every one hour for about 15 minutes. Standing burns 36 more calories per hour as compared to sitting.

Clean your house more often

Wash your car on your own

Play with your kids
We know most of us are guilty of saying no to our kids every time they request us to play with them. But did you know that playing physical games (and not board games) with your kids can help you burn calories between 80-137 per hour, depending on how intense your game is. So never ask them to sit and relax, join them and be hyper too (if you know what we mean)!
