Floral Crowns Are Suddenly Everywhere

Ever since Kirsten Dunst wore a floral-accented headband from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall collection during the Cannes Film Festival last month, the look seems to be everywhere—and that Dolce & Gabbana collection may very much be to blame. Last week, Keira Knightley complemented her Valentino gown with a red flowered headpiece at the premiere of her new film Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, and on Friday, Andrej Pejic popped into the Kanon Vodka Midsummer party in New York with a flower circlet atop his head. The style is even hitting the wedding circuit: Man Repeller’s Leandra Medine chose a floral headpiece and had her bridesmaids don Cult Gaia’s floral crowns for her wedding earlier this month, and over the weekend, Margherita Missoni chose for her bridesmaids to wear Maison Michel daisy crowns.
