You will need
1 cup moong dal (you can choose any dal)
1 cup brown rice
2 cup chopped veggies of your choice
5-6 cups of water
One teaspoon jeera
A pinch of hing
A pinch of haldi
Salt to taste and a teaspoon ghee
How to make
Put one teaspoon ghee in pressure cooker, add jeera, hing and haldi, stir for 5-10 seconds and then add the chopped vegetables. Keep stirring the vegetables for 2-3 minutes and then add rice and dal. Now add water and close the pressure cooker. Wait for 3-4 whistles and then turn off the gas. Your khichdi is ready.
