What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word intelligence? Probably having the highest IQ testing. Right? For most of us, academic abilities and reasoning skills are the parameters to measure the level of intelligence. It is something that people are naturally born with and cannot be acquired by others. However, as per Harvard psychologist, Howard Gardner, intelligence can be of different types and an individual can be good in one and might not be in others. Gardner, in his book “Frames of Mind”, first introduced in 1983, stated that there are eight different types of human intelligence- each one represents the way a person processes information in the best way. He named it “the theory of multiple intelligences.”
