Thomas quits as CVC, Supreme Court says appointment was illegal

Thomas quits as CVC – The Supreme Court has ruled that PJ Thomas’ appointment as Central Vigilance Commissioner (CVC) is illegal. After the verdict was delivered, Mr Thomas resigned as the country’s top man in charge of fighting corruption.
