5G will carry more than half of India’s internet traffic (56%) in five years. This would easily surpass what rides on 4G networks, as data consumption by individuals will grow over 1.5 times to as much as 50GB per month against the existing 20GB, according to a forecast made by Finnish telecommunication giant Ericsson.
