Anees Bazmee said, “Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are stars. It doesn’t matter if a couple of their films don’t work. The day their film works, they jump back into the big league. The last 2 films of Shah Rukh (Jawan, Pathaan) have done amazing business. Unfortunately, 1 or 2 films of Salman Khans have been weak at the box office. But I am very sure that when he delivers a well-made film, there will be no looking back.”

Anees continued, “When I was making No Entry (2005) with him, his 4-5 films had not worked. But after No Entry or Wanted (2009), look how he proved his worth. The audience loves these stars immensely. They have taken years to reach this position. Also, with actors like Salman, their flop films have done more business than the hit films of some of the actors!”

Anees Bazmee further said, “Salman bhai ke liye bahut mohabbat hai. I call him ‘Dil Khan’, because of how he is (smiles). We both have a great association. We both definitely want to work together. The day I get a script that is apt for him, I’ll immediately approach him. I’d love to work with Salman. Both our films were huge hits, be it No Entry and Ready (2011). He was so amazing in No Entry. He had a guest role, and yet, he stole the show. Aisa karishma hai uss aadmi mein.”
