JSW Steel will take the place of HDFC in the 30-share S&P BSE Sensex starting 13 July. HDFC is getting merged with HDFC Bank. Changes will also be made to other S&P BSE indices, including the inclusion of Zomato in place of HDFC in the S&P BSE 100, and Apollo Hospitals Enterprise in the S&P BSE Sensex 50. LTI Mindtree Ltd will replace HDFC in the Nifty 50 Index from 13 July.
