The Sensex and Nifty indices in India reached new record highs on Friday due to a rally in global markets and increased foreign investments. The 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 255.46 points to reach a new all-time high of 67,774.46, while the Nifty increased by 70.05 points to reach a lifetime peak of 20,173.15. Blue-chip companies such as HCL Technologies, Tata Motors, and Wipro were among the major gainers.
