Spanish renewable energy company Grenergy plans to invest 2.6 billion euros ($2.84 billion) to more than double its solar power generation and battery storage projects in the US over the next three years. The company aims to raise its installed solar capacity to 5 GW and renewable energy storage capacity to 4.1 GWh by 2026. It plans to sell 350-450 MW of solar capacity and 1 GWh of storage annually, and expects to earn between 250 million euros and 300 million euros in 2026. Grenergy sees the US as the most desirable market due to its predictability and stability.
