Stalling Memon hanging would`ve been against spirit of law: Attorney General

Dismissing the argument that 1993 Mumbai blasts convict Yakub Memon’s execution should have been stalled by 14 days after the rejection of his mercy plea, Attorney General Mukul Rohatgi on Thursday said had that happened, it would have been against the “spirit of the law”.
