Hospitality giant Hilton has appointed Zubin Saxena as its senior VP and country head for India. Saxena, a former MD of Radisson Hotel Group, will take over from Navjit Ahluwalia in January 2024. Hilton plans to triple its presence in India and have 75 trading and pipeline hotels in the country. Saxena will oversee Hilton’s 25 existing hotels in India and lead the expansion in South Asia, including the debut of new brands such as the Waldorf Astoria Jaipur. Ahluwalia, who led Hilton’s growth in India, is leaving the company after six years.
