Kentucky takes over No. 1; UNC matchup looms

North Carolina’s loss was Kentucky’s gain — at least for one week. The Wildcats were voted the overwhelming No. 1 in the ESPN/USA Today Top 25 after the Tar Heels’ loss Saturday to unranked UNLV.
