Leyton Orient completed a fine second-half comeback with a winner in the sixth minute of stoppage time after trailing 2-0 at Mansfield at half-time.
Danny Rose put the Stags ahead with a 12th-minute penalty after he was brought down by Marvin Ekpiteta when sent into the box by Otis Khan’s superb pass. Rose sent goalkeeper Dean Brill the wrong way.
Joe Widdowson then bizarrely fouled Kellan Gordon as he seemed to be heading out of the box in the 29th minute and Rose buried his spot-kick down the centre.
Khan was so close to a third after 40 minutes but saw his 25-yard free-kick come back off the O’s crossbar.
Orient finally grabbed their first goal in four games when Conor Wilkinson headed home from close range from Louis Dennis’ acrobatic cross in the 64th minute.
Lee Angol levelled with 12 minutes to go, tucking the ball home through the keeper’s legs from a tight angle from Wilkinson’s pass, and in the sixth minute of added time Angol broke down the left and crossed low for Dennis to finish from close in.
