The Vasai-Virar Municipal Corporation has jumped into the bandwagon of hosting a marathon, with the inaugural VVMC event scheduled to be held on Sept 18. Being the first year, the VVMC is inviting entries only from athletes of Maharashtra , though the Army team has provisionally confirmed its participation.
