Arsenal moved within a win of the Women’s Super League title with a 2-1 victory against Everton at Meadow Park.
The Gunners took full advantage of their game in hand on second-placed Manchester City, moving four points clear at the top of the table with two matches remaining.
Louise Quinn and Vivianne Miedema put Arsenal in control before Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah reduced Everton’s deficit.
Birmingham came from behind to win 2-1 at West Ham, who had goalkeeper Anna Moorhouse sent off just before half-time for handling the ball outside the box.
Hayley Ladd scored from the resulting free-kick to cancel out Adriana Leon’s opening goal. Chloe Arthur punished an error from substitute goalkeeper Becky Spencer at a corner to complete the turnaround.
Rinsola Babajide scored a hat-trick in Liverpool’s 5-2 home win against Bristol City. Yana Daniels and Ashley Hodson were also on the scoresheet for the Reds while Danique Kerkdijk and a Niamh Fahey own goal made up City’s goals.
